Audric BI booked a bus ticket online through 12GoAsia for a 3:00 PM departure from Kuala Lumpur airport to Malacca. The purpose of booking online is, in my opinion, to secure a seat in advance and avoid unnecessary hassle during the trip.
Upon arriving at the counter to print my ticket, I was told there were no seats left on the 3:00 PM bus, despite my prior reservation. What is the point of booking in advance through 12GoAsia if it does not actually guarantee a seat?
After much insistence on my part, they eventually changed my ticket to the 6:00 PM bus, while asking me to board the 3:00 PM bus anyway. A completely unnecessary and avoidable situation, which resulted in a significant waste of time.
In summary:
• Advance booking was pointless since the seat was not guaranteed
• Lack of coordination between the booking platform and the bus operator
• I had to insist heavily to get a solution
I strongly encourage 12GoAsia to improve the reliability of its service and ensure that reservations are honored by its partner operators.
