I booked Hat Yai - Bangkok sleeper with Thai-railways.com. Then they emailed me to say the train was full - they were slow to respond but eventually I got a full refund agreed. Then I booked with 12Go and got a sleeper ticket for and trip same date. It was also nearly double the price with Thai-Railways. So I thoroughly recommend recommend 12Go!

The sleeper bed is really cozy if you're not claustrophobic, it's a decent private space for you to rest overnight, ear plugs will be helpful, just bring a pair with you. AC temperature was good, they provide blanket. Reasonably priced, highly recommended.

Hassle free collection at Hatyai parcel office. I arrived Hatyai 40 mins before my departure to Bangkok on departure day. Grabbed my ticket from the parcel office, bought my dinner and boarded the train. Train departed on time. Ride was comfortable and the train was very clean. Staff on the train were polite and friendly. Highly recommend this train trip. Whether going north or going south. Experience is more than wonderful. 12Go is efficient and reliable. Bought my ticket a few months prior to departure. I received ticket purchased confirmation in no time. Excellent service by 12Go.

The bad side: the bus arrived an hour and a half late. The good side: it was comfortable 8/10, they gave me a bottle of water and two snacks, and it had a bathroom that was clean. I recommend it (the only downside was the delay) They stop along the way so you can grab something to eat.

The ride was not a bad experience. It’s the booking system that’s bad. I wish we could have the option of choosing seats. I know we have been informed about random seating but I wish in future the booking system can be upgraded to enable us to choose seats

The overall comfort, efficiency and security is great. However, the a/c is much too cold. 33' outside, 21 inside. Even the younger ppl looked uncomfortable, and needed to access more clothing. This is also a very inefficient use of power. Many ppl make similar comments. Please take note. 🥶
