Bus driver didn’t stop to Cha Am, only Hua Hin. Several passengers had to book (and pay) a taxi. Price is cheaper if you book directly at the station rather than online.

we did ask for an upgrade to 2nd class at the train station, and it was no problem at all, although the 3rd class didn't look too busy when we went by, didn't want to risk it though as we were tired. We were in the Sleeper Car, so it was comfortable and the staff was super helpful.

Delayed departure, but arrived OK. Driver tried to get extra payment although I had already paid overprice through 12GoAsia.

Language barrier made it a bit difficult to find the bus, and we had to get a ticket at the station, so we could not just board. Of course, they didn't charge us but insisted we get a ticket to board.
