I read in reviews that some people struggled with the transfers, but to me it was very easy to walk from the bus to the ferry (follow everyone else), and outside the ferry someone was waiting for me. They took a picture of me to let the driver know who to look for, and I got a sticker saying hotel transfer. Before boarding the schedule was explained to me. There was only a short wait for the van to arrive.

Bob WSomething was wrong with the boat, but what? We still don’t know. The communication was about nothing. Really bad, but instead of the 2 hours to ko phanang, it was more than 4 hours.

Neither did it say we docked at Koh Samui prior to going to Thong Sala pier.

Vanessa WThe transfer was very pleasant. On short notice, the driver even picked us up punctually right at our hotel. It would have been ideal if we had been informed the day before instead of only two hours before departure that morning. That would have saved us the trouble of organizing a transfer to Evergreen. However, we were able to cancel that easily.
The driver was friendly. There was no stop for a restroom break or drinks, but we didn’t need one and didn’t ask for it either. In general, a bit more communication would have been nice, although we understand that there may have been a language barrier.
Unfortunately, we had to wait 20 minutes for a late couple, which caused us to miss the earlier speedboat. This meant we had to wait two hours at the pier for the next ferry at 3 PM. That ferry was then delayed as well, so instead of arriving in Koh Phangan at 4 PM, we didn’t arrive until after 4:30 PM.
Overall, however, we were satisfied with the transfer and found it to be reliable. We would book it again.
