What are the Bus Classes & Prices of Namo Angkor Travel?
The price of your bus trip will depend both on the destination and the class of your ticket. Note that not all ticket classes are available on certain routes yet for longer trips there is almost always a good choice of options. Opt for a sleeper coach for the most convenient overnight trip. Sleeper buses are usually equipped with berths or soft reclining seats, feature an onboard toilet and your ticket may also include other perks like snacks or even a lunch. Taking a night bus is also a good idea if you want to save on your hotel room. During the day an express service is often the best value for money as it makes less stops than an ordinary or standard class bus and travels faster. On some routes it may be crucial to choose the right class as, say, an ordinary or second class bus may need some 6 hours to cover the distance the first class or express bus travels in two hours!
Pros & Cons of Bus Travel
Pros of Bus Travel
Buses usually boast the widest network of destinations covered. They travel to the places you cannot get to by plane or even by train
Travelling by bus is easy – there is no need to arrive to the bus terminal much in advance, and the check-in is usually a very fast formality opposite to air travel
Bus tickets are very affordable. Yes, there are costly first class or VIP options but is you are on a budget, bus is the first means of transportation you have to think about
At the same time, there are different classes of service to suit any budget. If you are after a higher level of comfort, buses get you covered, too.
Cons of Bus Travel
Intercity bus terminals can be located outside the city centre in the outskirts. It means you will need to calculate extra time and money to get there. In certain destinations getting from the bus terminal can cost you more than you would expect because only a limited number of transportation companies is allowed to serve the route – and prices may be inflated.
During busy weekends or high season buses serving some tourist destinations may run out of schedule and require advanced booking.
While buses are not as weather dependent as ferries, bus trips can also be delayed or cancelled due to bad weather or road conditions – keep it in mind if travelling during certain seasons or to certain destinations.

Do yourself a favor and do not book this transport!
The logistics were terrible from start to finish.
We took a boat from Don Det to Nakasong at 9:00 a.m. The boat ride lasted just 10 minutes, but then we had to wait until 10:15 a.m. at their Nakasong office before leaving.
The first driver, who took us to the border, was driving at 120 km/h while watching videos on his phone and vaping. This was incredibly unsafe and made us very uncomfortable.
We arrived at the border before 11:00 a.m. and had to carry all our suitcases with us through the border crossing. After completing the immigration procedures for both countries, we were told to wait another hour and a half for passengers coming from Pakse, who had left later than us. Why couldn't they have coordinated the departures so that both groups arrived at the same time?
After that, we were put on another bus that was completely overcrowded, with barely any room for luggage. Our suitcases ended up blocking the aisle. We drove for over an hour, stopped for lunch, and then had to change vehicles yet again.
The final van was even more cramped than the previous one. We were extremely uncomfortable and could barely get out of our seats because of all the luggage piled around us.
To make matters worse, we arrived at 8:15 p.m. instead of the scheduled 5:00 p.m. That's over three hours later than promised.
Next time, I'd much rather pay a few extra dollars for a more reliable company than go through this again. Three vehicle changes, hours of waiting, unsafe driving, overcrowded vans, and an extremely uncomfortable journey made this a terrible experience. I would not recommend this transport to anyone.

Was ok but didn’t get to stop for a toilet break for over 2.5hrs! We had to ask. Other than that staff was nice and journey on time. Although they had run out of fries and I’m vegan so could eat nothing else. Had to go next door.
Good value for the money though.

Trip from Pakse to Siem Reap: The trip started at 8:30am and they picked me up at 8:45am on a mini bus. We only left Pakse at 9:30am because every 100m we would stop for the locals to buy food on the street. 15min before the border I changed vehicles. We arrived at the border and they simply left us there without any information. After crossing the border, a girl on a motorcycle said where we had to go. We got into a van and about 30 minutes later we stopped to change vans again and have lunch (40min). We arrived at the destination 2h30 after the announcement.

Pickup for boat was on time and transport to border crossing was smooth. However we had to wait over an hour for other group of
people who were heading to Siem Reap. The company should have timed it better so that we were not waiting in the heat. The staff were very friendly and helpful and van was comfortable. Also be aware NO ATM at/before border so get USD in big city before doing visa on arrival

I'm sorry to say but the travel experience was shambles. I chose an option of travel only by one bus to save moving from vehicle to vehicle, but ended up having to change multiple times: sleeper bus, van, another van, third van, another bus. We had to walk between the borders ourselves - in the heat and with all luggage, and after Cambodian border we had to wait for two hours to be picked up being told they don't know how long it's gonna be - maybe 30 minutes, maybe another 30. That was when contacting the agency as there was no one to advise on the other side besides a gent at the only local place there saying that the operators would come at some point. The arrival was to be 17:45 (though someone else bought the trip as 17:00 arrival, another 18:30) but ended up being after 21:00. The gent from the agency and Cambodia drivers were nice, but the staff on the sleeper bus in Laos rude.

We booked a car from Siem Reap to Poipet. We had to change cars. The driver took us to another company and told us to go with another company. When we were about to leave, we had to stop to wait for some goods that needed to be sent to Poipet. It was a huge waste of time. We booked for 7:45 am, but at 8:30 am we were still in Siem Reap and arrived in Poipet at 12:00 noon, which was later than scheduled.

Wo booked the transfer from Don Det to Siem Reap. It took us much longer than expected because we had to change vehicles many times, and wait forever for whatever driver etc.

The trip organizer is a fraud, especially the Thai side. After crossing the border, we were traveling in an old minibus without air conditioning, the driver stopped at every village, dropped off and picked up people. We arrived 1.5 hours late. They advertise comfortable mini-buses, but in fact they use garbage instead of transport. The trip aggregator ignores questions and does not particularly participate in understanding the situation, although they charge a percentage for the sale.
I do not recommend this company to anyone as a carrier, it is better to use the services of VET air bus express, we traveled with them, everything was fine. We tried Namo Angkor Travel and it was terrible

There was lack of information on what to do between the borders. At some point I didn't know if I was going to the right destination because nobody could confirm me that...

After passing the boarder of cambodia, you still have to wait a lot of batches of people from different timetable coming from Bangkok to fill in the bus which also took us more than 2 hours. It was annoying that I was killing our time. Although, I'm thankful that our bus operator was too careful to send us to the bus station.
