What are the Bus Classes & Prices of Go Bus?
The price of your bus trip will depend both on the destination and the class of your ticket. Note that not all ticket classes are available on certain routes yet for longer trips there is almost always a good choice of options. Opt for a sleeper coach for the most convenient overnight trip. Sleeper buses are usually equipped with berths or soft reclining seats, feature an onboard toilet and your ticket may also include other perks like snacks or even a lunch. Taking a night bus is also a good idea if you want to save on your hotel room. During the day an express service is often the best value for money as it makes less stops than an ordinary or standard class bus and travels faster. On some routes it may be crucial to choose the right class as, say, an ordinary or second class bus may need some 6 hours to cover the distance the first class or express bus travels in two hours!

Intercity bus terminals can be located outside the city centre in the outskirts. It means you will need to calculate extra time and money to get there. In certain destinations getting from the bus terminal can cost you more than you would expect because only a limited number of transportation companies is allowed to serve the route – and prices may be inflated.

During busy weekends or high season buses serving some tourist destinations may run out of schedule and require advanced booking.

Jasmin KThe journey from Luxor to Cairo was chaotic throughout and did not even end at the destination I had booked.
During the trip, the driver smoked inside the bus several times and played very loud music the entire way – getting any rest on such a long journey was impossible.
In Cairo, the bus stopped at several locations that were not part of the booked itinerary. As a result, the delay added up to around three hours.
The main issue: the bus eventually stopped in the middle of Cairo and ended the journey there – roughly 20 km away from the booked destination in Nasr City. When I asked why the final stop was not being served, I was simply told that this was now the end of the route. No further explanation or alternative was offered.
I had to arrange and pay for onward transport myself, after a journey that was already heavily delayed.
Anyone booking this connection should expect that neither the stated arrival time nor the stated destination can be relied upon.

Daniel FDO NOT go to “Go Bus El Sakala Street 1” as stated on the ticket. This is not a pick up point. Luckily a local told me and saved me from missing my bus. Use the main Go Bus terminal, all buses leave from here:

Hiran L3 hour trip took 4.5 hours. Bus stopped at the first pick up point after 45 minutes. It took 50 minutes to get going again. Driver was smoking all the way on the mobile phone. It's scary and dangerous.

trip advertised as 4 hour journey takes 6 hours. no obstruction on the way, misleading information provided and we arrived are unable to change return bus from luxor even though terms and conditions says it’s possible. no help from customer service. we got separated as well and there was no wifi as advertised.

Teimurazi GThe image shown for the bus we had purchased does not correspond to the bus that had arrived. My chair was badly stained, felt like a rock to sit on it. Legroom isn't sufficient for anyone taller than 170. Not their fault, but you need to cross the dangerous street to sit in the bus in Cairo, which is traumatizing. Overall, I think this may be better than other companies based on what I've read about them, but it still doesn't deserve more stars. Even booking phase was buggy, as it doesn't show seat locations properly.
