Aidan CAlright bus ride. Friendly employees. Definitely not the bus from the advertisements. Was an hour late leaving but arrived early. Bus itself is getting pretty run down and the bathroom could use some work, anytime someone used it the smell would waft through the bus. The pickup was also not at the Krabi bus terminal like indicated on the ticket. Pretty average for an overnight bus all and all, definitely not the best but definitely not the worst.

Aktar HIt’s an average VIP experience and honestly not worth the extra money. I’d recommend just booking a normal ticket instead. The only real difference is sitting downstairs, plus you get some water and a small snack, nothing special.
There was no water in the toilet or even in the sink, which is completely unacceptable. The pickup was also late, and the van made multiple stops before finally heading to Surat Thani.
When you arrive, they rush you off the van, but instead of going straight to the coach, they make you sit there for about 25 minutes so you end up buying food. It all feels like it’s run by the same operator trying to squeeze as much money as possible.
I’ve taken other VIP coach trips that offer far more perks, so this was really disappointing. I feel like I wasted my money, especially since I didn’t get the hotel transfer despite paying a premium price. It also advertised food included, but all I received was water and a small, low quality cake.
Overall, not worth upgrading to VIP

Anna JThe minibus driver for our 2 hour drive to the bus station made us all aware half way through that he was uncomfortable driving, he kept using eyedrops and swerving in the road. The whole bus felt really scared and nervous for the last hour of the journey.

Lisamarie The First Van was 30 mins late. After a 10 min ride I switched into a bus to Surat Thani. There was a 30 min break before I got onto another bus that took us to Bangkok. Overall it was comfy most of the time but actually sleeping was quite hard for me :(
The last ride had blankets and you could add a Upgrade for 200 THB

Lance COther than major discrepancies in advertising the trip, such as no mention of a Van from Krabi to Surat Thani and the 2 hour lay over in Surat Thani...Once on the bus it was a good trip. There were quite a few trips advertised that mentioned the van and bus combination.

Esther LOverall experience was fine, efficient and comfortable enough. we even had a meal. Make sure to really be there an hour prior to departure as for both our journeys (round trip) the bus left 10-15 minutes earlier than the scheduled time.
The real con though is the fact that the bus did not drop us off at the station we booked, we booked our arrival at Bangkok Hua Lamphong Station and the bus went straight to Khao San and asked everyone to get off. This at 4AM is just not it..
