Boon Lay to TBS Kuala Lumpur Destination Reviews

CM
The night before we got a message that the bus is delayed for 2h. Pretty sure they canceled our bus because there were only 5 bookings when we checked, so don't book an empty bus. We messaged them right away to get a refund so we can book with another bus company. After 30 minutes we started calling them and got no reply. Then someone must have picked up by accident, they sounded panicked and rushed to hang up saying "they need to check and will grt back to us". 20 minutes later no reply and they are not picking up anymore, even though sometimes the line is occupied. We check other options to change provider but didn't in the end. More about that later. We decided to go with the ride and delay our plans. We were told to wait somewhere at least 30 min before to get our tickets. There was no one there, it was again almost impossible to get in contact with the company and when we did they gave us wrong info and hung up as soon as possible. Bus was 10 min late which isn't too bad. But we drover 15 min to a bigger station and waited for another hour which is so unnecessary. Just tell us to go to that station! We get to the border, did immigration and another bus change at the border. The final lap in Malaysia was actually smooth. Bus was also comfortable. Still 2 hour delay from rescheduling, 2.5h delay before starting the ride. 1h for the busride itself with no traffic jam. 5.5h delay total simply from imcompetent organization. 12go support: We provided all information and they were basically like: sorry bus operator says no refund, absolutely no help Other options: we checked with locals and the 2 recommended companies are both listed here but show no rides, not sure what the deal is with 12go and Malaysian companies Final advice: check the google reviews for this company instead of 12go.

The bus was delayed at the pick-up zone. I had messaged the provided WhatsApp and got a very minimal reply; no notice about the delayed arrival. However, other passengers nearby has received a much more detailed message including the expected late arrival. Not sure why this wasn't communicated to me also. Had one driver and bus until the border crossing, and a second driver/bus afterwards. Both busses were comfortable and clean. Both drivers were polite and spoke excellent English. Cannot fault them at all. The journey took longer than advertised, but after reading reviews I expected this. The one major letdown however, is that we ended our journey at the bus terminal on the outskirts of KL. When I booked the journey, the drop off was advertised as Bukit Bintang (city centre). When I queried the driver if it was the last stop, he seemed as confused as me, and told me only that he'd been instructed to go there and he wasn't sure what was happening. He went away to investigate only to come back and let me know that this was our final stop. He seemed also surprised by this. Was pretty frustrating as I was then faced with paying for a Grab or traveling for another hour on public transport with changes (late at night) to get to my hostel. Ended up paying for a Grab but that's additional cost that should have been covered by the bus service. In summary, the drivers were great and informative, drive was smooth, but the operation in general was poorly organised and the arrival at the wrong terminal was deeply frustrating.

Overall the trip was fine and the seats are comfortable. But the trip took 7 hours instead of 5 because there was a lot of traffic at some points and also i think the driver was slow. The driver was talking the whole journey veery loud and that was annoying.

A very comfortable bus but one minor issue was that the final destination was not as advertised. This wasn’t a big deal as we were let off at a Metro station but still, I expected better from a VIP style bus that charges a premium price.

My booking was for a trip from Singapore to KL Sentral. The bus dropped us off at KLIA2! It said that was the only stop and that no other buses go to Sentral! So I don't understand why it lets you choose your arrival location. I chose this bus because it was supposed to take me to KL Sentral.

Had to change the bus twice, which made us 2 hours late and the trip did go to another station 12km away.
