The flight itself is very good, however your e-ticket edition has a big gap, it lacks the notion of the terminal, but the terminal in Manila is an airport in itself, there is no connection between the different terminals, we almost missed the plane!!! and having to take a taxi all with a 2-year-old baby: a nightmare that has a cost for foreigners
Flight was late in about 2 hours.
There are only 2 food trolleys and due to short flight time the crew didn't mange to reach us, airport was full and not sufficient chairs to seat.
Flight was delayed 1.5 hours at airport, then once boarded was grounded due to a thunderstorm for a further 2 hours. The only snacks available where very unpleasant noodles and nuts as everything else wasn’t stocked, despite offering a full menu and range of snacks. How was the food availability so low little when boarding the plane, especially after a 1.5 hour delay at the airport.
Besides the awkward check-in line, the staff seemed to be a little 'unfocused' and demur in attitude... As well, it was difficult to get any attention from the flight associates, as they were busy serving meals and drinks to 'paying' customers, that took way too much time... perhaps that process could be improved much better for all future flights - there's got to be an easier way to go about that.
I would give it 4 stars but the check in lines to drop the baggage were long and slow. Once I finally reached the bag drop the staff was very helpful and proficient. The Aircraft was clean and well maintained. The flight crew well trained and professional. The flight crew was very professional but meal service was terribly slow because each passenger was sold their meal or coffee or drink then money collected and change made a terribly slow process. That is why I always try to avoid budget Air carriers after you buy the ticket, pay security fees, airport fees, taxs, luggage fees, meals and drink fees, it not any cheaper than full service carriers. Overall a good clean, safe, on time flight.
As everybody said the flight schedule is great but only the terminal number is missing in the iterenary. You did not specify which terminal is air asia was assigned for those passengers that are not familiar with the airport
