Tavelling by night was okay, it was an 18h trip from hanoi to hoi an, we had to change bus at 7AM, but overall it was okay. There was a bathroom in the bus, no toilet paper, although after a few hours I preferred to wait just to arrive to my destination. Bus drivers are a bit rough, not kind at all, so just go not expecting any special treatment. I'm a slender woman of 1.73m, the seats were okay for me, but I can definitely see others struggling with the seat size. I will probably take a flight next time, as the price was almost the same as the usual 30$ of Vietjet, but the bus was an acceptable option during new years' as the other options (train, airplane) were terribly expensive.
it’s always a hit or miss with these busses but this one wasn’t too good. the bus was almost 4 hours late and when i got on the bus driver was talking very loudly for basically the entire time, like almost yelling. the bus itself was good though, but nowhere near the great experiences i’ve had before.

Picked up by minivan and taken to big bus on time and big bus left promptly. Clean and comfortable bus with toilet on board. Office staff in Hanoi said the bud was direct but at 7am we were woken up in Hue and told we had to get off the bus and wait an hour for the next bus to take us the rest of the way. This was uncomfortable and unexpected. We then got on the same bus and went to Hoi an, bus arrived roughly 30minutes after expected time so overall a reasonable journey
The bus had three rows of seats/beds and two asiles. Each Seats reclined almost all the way and we're a bit narrow for north american standards. The ride was pretty comfortable however the constant honking that is part of traffic in Vietnam kept me from having a really restful night.
ハノイからホイアン, バス スリーパー34, VietNam Travel Bus (Việt Nam Travel Bus), 2023/08/23
Very Poor service, So much delay from actual time. Seats are not comfortable. My baggage is totally wet with rain water even in their storage. I suggest to skip this bus operator to every person.
Drivers don’t cares about customers. No informations provided, no effort to answer questions. They randomly turn on all the lights inside the cabine during the night, we end up believing that they do it on purpose to wake everyone up, at the same time the driver honks non-stop, day and night throughout the journey, which lasts 19 hours, instead of 17,5. Half of seats are broken, does not recline properly.
If you want to go from Hanoi to Hoi An, take de plane, or another bus company, or prepare for a bad ride.
Bus from Hanoi to Hoi An, not actually one bus but two which is fine but on the way we were going on loads of detours as the bus was loaded with paint and other products and we were delivering it to people on the way. First bus smelt of wee and cigarette smoke but fairly clean beds. Second bus was really grim and had white stains all over it and pillows someone else had just been on. Also we were transporting birds, a cockerel and a dog too so it sounded like a zoo which meant we couldn’t get a lot of sleep. The bus looked like how it was described online but the pick up point was some random place on the side of the street and locals in the office weren’t keen to help or reassure. Only plus side is we got to Hoi An only a little later than expected.
Bus left on time, comfortable berths - in the beds at the very back of the bus, even my 6’5/195cm friend could stretch out fully occasionally because there was space behind the headrest. Toilet at the back and we made a stop on the way. Despite heavy traffic, they managed to get us in on time. Working AC and charging ports. Picked us up 10 mins walk from Hanoi Old Town and dropped us 10 mins walk from Hoi An Old Town - no need for taxi.
