Nha Trang Hotels, Hostels and Resorts

Some of Vietnam's most luxurious resorts can be found in Nha Trang. Many visitors come with plans which involve nothing more than relaxing by the pool or on the beach, and there are plenty of options where it's easy to stay for a couple of weeks in absolute luxury. There are plenty of international chains that have opened up here such as Novotel, Sheraton and Intercontinental.

Top end

One of the most exclusive resorts in Nha Trang is Mia Resort Nha Trang (12km outside the city in Bai Dong). Here there are luxury villas and bungalows with stunning ocean views from USD190 per night. Whether you're a yoga expert or beginner, be sure to join in with the free yoga classes they offer on the beach on Saturday afternoons. With cooking classes, a spa and two excellent on-site restaurants there really is no reason to leave this paradise. But if you want to head back into Nha Trang, they offer a free shuttle service as well.

If you're looking for an extra special place to stay, maybe for a honeymoon, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay is almost certainly that place. Located in nearby Ninh Van Bay a few kilometres outside of Nha Trang, this hotel has a selection of villas all with stunning views across the bay, and each boasting a private plunge pool. The villas are so secluded it's possible to go days without seeing another guest. Villas are available from USD580 per night.

Mid-range

Rosaka Nha Trang Hotel (107A Nguyen Thien Thuat) offers more affordable but still luxurious rooms from USD80 a night. There's an in-house restaurant and bar but the best feature is the rooftop pool which offers great sea views. The hotel is also close to many of the city's best restaurants so you can always find something delicious to eat.

Budget

There's an ever-growing number of budget options in Nha Trang. Those arriving without a reservation should head to the guesthouses around 65 Tran Phu where there's a whole road of cheaper alternatives close to the beach.

One of the most popular choices for backpackers and budget travellers is Mojzo Inn (120/36 Nguyen Thien Thuat) which has a superb location just a few minutes walk from the beach. Every morning you can enjoy breakfast in the restaurant on the rooftop, all included in the price. Best of all they even offer free beer! Dorm beds are available from USD7.

Backpack Hostel (92/12 Hung Vuong) is in one of the best locations in the city, just 400m from the beach. It really doesn't get much more central than this! Dorm beds from USD6, with some rooms even having a balcony to socialise on (or to dry your washing!), private rooms are also available at around USD12 per night.

Also very close to the beach is Backpack Abode Hostel (79/1 Nguyen Thien Thuat) if offers dorm beds in air-conditioned rooms from as little as USD5, including breakfast. The beach is almost on your doorstep here and it's also around a 5-minute walk to plenty of bars, close enough to stumble home from without being bothered by the noise. Finally, every night between 7pm–8pm there's free beer on offer!

If your budget can stretch slightly beyond dorms and hostels, then Perfume Grass Inn (4a Biet Thu) is an excellent option. Doubles are available here for around USD18, with some rooms offering sea views and all including breakfast. There's also a good restaurant in the hotel that is worth trying at least once for dinner. The hotel is just a minute or two walk from the beach as well so the location is perfect.
