Eurail Italy Mobile Pass Coverage

All Trenitalia-operated trains, including:

• Frecciarossa (FR): high-speed
• Frecciargento (FA): high-speed
• Frecciabianca (FB): high-speed
• Intercity (IC)
• Intercity Notte (ICN, night trains)
• Regionale / Regionale Veloce (R / RV): regional trains

These are all covered under the Eurail Italy Pass, with the caveat that seat reservations are required for high-speed and Intercity trains, and cost extra.

Not included:

• Italo trains (operated by NTV, a private rail company not part of Eurail)

• Urban transport such as buses, subways, trams, and local commuter networks not operated by Trenitalia
