Everything worked out really well, nice staff and comfortable bus. Was a bit hesitatant because of previous reviews so we took take to be quick back at the bus - but staff even counted through to make sure everybody was there...

Meetingpoint 2 pm at Golden Mile complex Singspore. Arrival in KL at 1am! The trip takes 11h. Be careful if you have a connected flight. Details: The bus was delated for 2 hours because of traffic and long waiting times at the border. The VIP Liner was not prepared with WLAN, some beverages or food and hasn't a toilet. The first long stops were at the immigration and Passport Control to Malaysia. We need more than 1,5 h. at the border. The bus drives very slowly we tought for saving petrol. We had a short break at the gas station. After that the bus stops two times directly at the shoulder of the highway for deciding to drive back to the gas station at the next exit. We thought the busdriver forgot a person! But this wasn't the reason and we had no more ideas what was going wrong. Nevertheless we need another 30 min to drive back and come to the exit we start our turnaround. Only a short time later we make the official break! We had enough breaks. We need ca. 5h for 100 km! But 30 min later the bus drives non-stop in 3 h to KL. Late Night checkin at the hotel: 1.30am. Our planned evening in KL has taken place in the bus.

The review by Jenelle below says it all. The bus arrived a few hours late, however the price and comfort of the journey were fantastic.

Only 4* because we did not leave on time. Left 20minutes late and arrived KL 2 hours later than the scheduled arrival. However the bus itself is so comfortable! Seats recline far back and legs can be slightly elevated. Plenty of leg room! Note if you are taking the bus, the immigration might make your journey longer. Departure from SG was a breeze using biometric passports however this is not the case when entering Malaysia. The queues are absolute CHAOS! people tired, hot, sticky and pushing in the line so took us a good hour just to get through. But for the price we paid this is not bad at all!

It was a clean, comfortable bus, very quick too. My only complaint is that the pickup in Berjaya Times Square is not as written (at the main entrance near Starbucks), but at street level where you can find a sign with a bus pictogram and a couple bus counters. Had we been standing where advertised we probably would have missed it, though it was on time. Would take it again!

Pleasant trip, we arrived at the right time. there were 2 drivers, both were good.

The bus ride took about 6.5 hours, but it was smooth. We had to stop for Singaporean customs then Malaysian customs then again for a food stop . The ride was VERY COMFORTABLE.

Comfortable seats, but awful communication and incredibly rude staff

Comfortable bus, seats like in airplanes in business class, air conditioning. After 3 hours of travel stop for half an hour, you can eat, drink coffee. After passing the border with Singapore, the driver and the bus waited for everyone who had problems at passport control, and went to the Golden Mile Tower.

Buses are very comfortable and you also have a lot of space as a tall person (1.86). Ride is pleasant, but we are also not driven at rush hour times. The 5 hours from Singapore - Kuala Lumpur are but pure driving time. On top comes a break and the border crossing, especially that you can not influence. Singapore: Departure City Plaza. Not a real big bus station, first you think you are wrong. But behind the Plaza and opposite a bus stop ... there you are right. Kuala Lumpur: The TBS is huge, at counter A you can pick up tickets booked online. It is best not only to have the booking number ready, but exactly the company with which you travel.

Bus left on time. Bus was clean and seats were comfortable with ample legroom. Border crossing was the smoothest business. Drivers weren't at all friendly, but ladies at the check in counter were pleasant enough. Research you passport visa requirements because Transtar staff aren't always clued up on which nationalities don't require a visa to enter Malaysia (i.e. Zimbabwe), so they freaked us out by saying we'd get stuck at the border. A quick call to our home embassy settled matters. Bus arrived in KL ahead of schedule and made a convenient stop round the corner from our hotel in Bintang Bukit. Would definitely use this bus service again, but leave on a morning bus so as to see the countryside.

Bus was on time, trip was uninterrupted. First stop is Berjaya Times Square, which is so beneficial for travellers, who don't need any transportation means to get there, if they stay nearby. But, you should have served couple of complimentary things, such as water, small snacks, which makes your service better. Thank you for your cooperation.

It was good and clean. Until halfway there was a flat tire and the transferred bus was very sub par with the initial bus. It was smelly and old but the conductor of that bus helped us with our luggage. I hope next time they check first before heading out because it left 5 mins before departure time schedule.

Bus wasn't in the pick up place on time, was late by 20 minutes & it's only 7am & no traffic jam Have to give several calls to the office to checked. Also no sign waiting location for the bus

Good trip overall. Capable drivers, good value for money. Only suggestions would be a toilet on board and also Wi-Fi for passengers to use. Would use the service again, maybe first class coach next time.

Friendly staff, comfortable seat, super ride. Everything worked without any problems. I would travel like this again.

Bus was on time and clean. Seat was very spacious with ample leg space. Every seat had its own entertainment unit with a rather large selection of new movies. We were offered a meal, hot drinks and a bottle of water. All members of staff were friendly and took good care of us during the whole trip and through the immigration procedures.

Very good value, no problems, excellent.

Very easy trip, the bus is clean and comfortable. They stopped once for a snak and a bathroom break and the rest was all the way through. All in all its a nice ride.

driver was driving too fast

Bus was 2.5 hours late. We went to One Utama, but a van brought us to another place in KL - because the bus did not stop at One Utama.... TV in the bus did not work. Seats were comfortable, but not every wirket. Meal and service were good, ride also.

Ended up booking another service with Transtar Travel.

Bit difficult to find the exact spot from which the bus leaves and the counter wasn;'t open for the early bus but the bus itself was very comfortable, nice entertainment system and friendly staff.

Very Good Trip, expecially the service and reliability

Nicer trip than we expected! It was a little tricky to find where to meet the bus, but the ride was very comfortable, and the operator handled a difficult situation well.
