Maria MIt was ok but the staff asked us to go down the stairs and go up again to go to the other side of the tracks (Platform 3). We were carrying heavy baggages!! Then when we reached the Platform, we found out that he allowed other passengers to cross the main platform (platform 1)! It was so frustrating since we had to run and drag our baggages up and down the stairs!
We were so tired!

Valeriia MDeparture was from a new Bus Station in Samarkand while in ticket was mentioned other - Old Bus Station that is not working currently. As tourists we were lost at this point, found out about right departure point from our taxi driver.
The trip took approximately for an 1 hour longer than was expected. Also for 5 hours night road we had 0 (zero) stops. So we were on a 5 hour trip without possibility to use bathroom/toilet.
Bus drivers were driving pretty dangerously, considering it was nightime and raining outside.
Also on trip from Tashkent to Samarkand we've been offered with drinks and sandwiches. There wasnt same service on trip back from Samarkand to Tashkent

Olga DI booked a private transfer from Samarkand to Tashkent airport with an expected duration of around 5 hours.
In reality, the trip took approximately 8 hours.
The driver made frequent and unnecessary stops (including stopping to rest and even to chat with people), despite the fact that I clearly communicated that I had a flight and needed to arrive on time.
I had to constantly monitor the route and push the driver to continue, which completely defeated the purpose of booking a private transfer. Instead of being able to rest, I was forced to manage the situation myself.
Additionally, the driver first took me to the wrong airport and then to the wrong terminal, which required me to arrange additional transport under time pressure.
I reported the issue during the trip, but the local operator did not respond in time.
To be fair, I did not miss my flight, but only because I had built in a significant time buffer and actively managed the situation myself.
The service was technically “completed,” but the actual experience was far below expectations for a private transfer.
I would strongly recommend clarifying expectations with the operator in advance and considering alternative providers if timing is critical because with current operator there is a high risk of not being transported on time.
