it is a pleasant ride, but I need to exchange to a tuktuk from krabi town to ao nang. the second ride I was dropped at random hotel which i don't book to be dropped on there. so I need to walk amount of distance to get there.
At first I was worried from reading the reviews. The 438 bus is purchasable for 180 THB on the bus (phuket-krabi ao nang). However, if you want a smooth transfer, then buying an overpriced ticket from this platform is fine. BUT, you can just hail a car from another app to get to your destination after the 438 drop-off. That way, you could've saved 200-300 THB. The ticket pdf should show more information on the transfer so people don’t question or get confused on where to go or what next. 438 stops at the bus terminal as a final destination so people going to Ao Nang needs to know where to next for the transfer.
12go is legit. I showed the ticket counter worker the QR code I got from email and she gave me the proper ticket for the bus. Seats are tight and not super comfortable. Default recline of the seats is like a negative angle and super uncomfortable, so you need to angle it back
We were left at a different final stop than we booked (should have been the Krabi bus terminal, but it was in fact elsewhere where they then scammed us into purchasing a taxi service)
The driver needed without a reason one Hour more than usually expected. So we arrived in the middle of the night and he stopped somewhere else. The origin stop should be the Bus Terminal 1 in Krabi. He stopped 150 meters away from that point. At this point we met very aggressive people that wanted us to get in there taxis. We booked an bolt driver and suddenly they were following us. It scared us.
Good experience, the bus was comfortable and on time. It was a direct bus from Phang Nga to Phuket Town; we were going to the airport and the driver dropped us off as close as possible. Very nice.
GAME-CHANGER 🚀Phuket to Krabi just got easier! Top-notch bus, awesome roads, and superb service - 3 hours fly by! 😊 Plus points for free bike parking at Phuket Bus Terminal 1 and seamless online booking via 12go. You've nailed it! 👌 Tourist made easy, folks!
It took almost 5 hours without any particular problems. The 3.5 hours indicated as the estimated time is simply too optimistic, probably never respected.
Trip was okay. Left in time. There was room in earlier bus, so we joint in that bus. Made a few stops to pick up and drop off people, and 2 breaks. Drive was about 4 hours and afterwords transfer to hotel. Perfect. Recommend for sure. Did not understatement why I paid for covid Package insurance. Did not check that box.
Voucher doesn’t give you enough informative info about the meeting point. We was supposed to leave at 12:40 but left at 13:15. Not very structured with anyone checking your ticket and the driver/workers outside the car wasn’t very welcoming. After we started driving, plenty stops were made to pick up others which delayed the arrival time. Engine was very loud during the ride and there was constantly an annoying beeping sound. We booked the ride from Krabi bus station to Phang Nga bus station, we stepped out and was apparently the only ones that were gonna get out here. Thought the ride was a one stop ride but it wasn’t, would be nice to know beforehand.
The bus wasn't on time when it arrived it was about 40 minutes late. When we were on the bus we thankfully were paying attention to where our drop point was as the driver by passed our stop and kept going up the highway we approached the front of the bus and asked him about if we had passed and he said he totally forgot he had to drop us there and turned the bus around and dropped us off. It was fine in the end but if we had not been paying attention it would not have been so fine.
Overall good trip just worth noting the bus drops you at the beach near the bus stop not at the destination stated on the booking (Jungceylon) which is about a 25min walk difference, not too bad expect we had very heavy backpacks to carry that we had packed for a 5min walk rather than 25mins
Right, I’m not really one to make a fuss but this bus journey simply isn’t as described. Also, you have to change bus 2 times and none of this is made obvious at any point so this review will spell it out- your mileage may vary of course.
We were picked up by some guy shouting Phuket Phuket from our hotel lobby which I was fine with. We were the only people on this leg of journey.
Drove about 10 minutes swapped to a bigger bus on the road side that was VERY full.
When we got to Phuket bus terminal (1 hr from intended destination). The guy said ok final stop, so I mentioned to him this is for Patong not Phuket bus terminal.
He got me on a bus which terminated at the beach, some 20 minute walk from jungceylon mall which is where it was meant to end.
I’m not one to complain and we did get there in the end but for the sake of clarity- change the termination point and make it clearer what the itinerary is.
