Ninh Binh Car

It's sold as a premium vehicle, but only the second of the three was truly premium. It's chaotic, and nobody provides any information; they keep moving you from one place to another without warning.

We had to change 2 times vehicle which was not advertised as such. We were also asked to be 30min before advertised time at the bus pickup. The ride on the 3th vehicle was in an old smelly car with the airco not working and fans blowing in the face. The driver was also very unpleasant.

Picked up by car, drove 30 minutes to bus, drove 2 hours on bus, brought by car for 1 hr to Hanoi airport, very misleading, says shuttle bus in description is used at end of trip. Very uncomfortable overall experience.

Got me there on time but really disorganised and no communication. I booked for 11am pick up which was then changed to 10:15am with 30mins notice and was transferred across 3 different vehicles.

We arrived on time but we were very late at the start, which is stressful when we have scheduled activities…

It was not a nice drive. Crazy driver, lots of switching vans and dirty operator (Sao Viết)

Everything was good. Pick up on time

Pick-Up was 40 minutes before the original time. Everything went smoothly, first car to Ninh Binh, then Limousine to Hanoi, then car to the airport. I got dropped off at the international terminal, so perfect. Total time 3h

Booked a luxury seat but was squeezed in the front seat of the car

Was running ahead of schedule and dropped me off at the homestay included was staying at. Top service! Took 3 cars/vans but they do mention that in the instructions if you read them.

This is not a direct shuttle. It stops 3 tips and you have to change busses 2 times. They don’t speak English

Even though the message with the picture of the car did not match the pickup car the driver found me and brought me to the office. Transfers were very smooth. Cars and Vans were all in a very good state, seat belts working. We arrived on time or even ahead of time whenever I booked with this company. On a side note to other travelers: I booked 13h, but was picked up at 12.30h. Have a buffer in your schedule.

Didn't handle luggage with care. Last connection car driver didn't want to really get close to my accommodation.

Change on the travel for a normal car, without information, but I payed the whole trip in a more expensive van. No really fear.

It was good service overall. Good car with enough space. A bottled water was given. However once I booked it I was immediately contacted by 3 different people on Whatsp and asked me to do it travel before the booked time. Then a car came and picked me up and dropped off in Hà Nội. The office staff in Hà Nội did not speak a word of English and I waited there for a while and then another van picked me up. This then dropped me somewhere in Ninh Binh which I thought was the end point do I booked a Grab taxi. But the bus then went to another location which was closer to my hotel but I wasn’t told of this. Overall they are good but there is lack of communication which creates a lot of confusion

Mixed review 2 part journey The pickup place for the airport on my pdf was NOT correct. I was contacted by wattsapp to a different area which I couldn’t find, once collected from the booked pickup up we drove past where the new point was and it was a considerable distance away. My drivers car smelt absolutely awful of cigarettes. He started conversation nice and politely but the questions became quite inappropriate, he was asking about boyfriends and men whilst I’m travelling and did I want to marry a Vietnamese man also could he accompany me on my onward travel, I started to feel quite unsettled and vulnerable something that hasn’t happened before whilst travelling. Tbh I was too worried to speak up incase I was kicked out and left somewhere. Once he dropped me at the office the VIP bus wasn’t as described at all, it was old and worn, however the driver was brilliant, drove carefully and communicated well.

The driver was always in dangerous manoeuvres and on his cell phone.

The transfers between vehicles (3 in total) were not explained (accepting language barriers). The driver of the mini bus was completely unacceptable with his driving putting all his passengers and other road users at risk Getting within inches of the vehicles in front flashing his lights and dangerously jumping from Lane to lane at speed. It was though we were being driven be some young upstart rather than a professional driver . I am use to driving fast motorbikes and cars so l am an experienced driver, so l can fully appreciate how to and not to drive . You would not think he had a full van of passengers I had to put my earphones in and close my eyes it was that bad l am surprised that this company are even used by 12GoAssia That said the last taxi car driver who took us to the airport was very safe

The driver was kind but too noisy (phone rings permanently, call a lot of people loudly) and drives a dangerously because he checks his phone all the time

We were picked up by a car which was to small for 5 passengers with all their lugage. We sat squished in for almost half an hour to the office. From there we were asked to enter another bus for the ride to Hanoi which stopped at several places. At the office we were transferred again to another car which was also very small for 5 passagers with all their luggage. This ride brought us to the airport. We're definitely not going to book a transfer like this again.

Confortable and fast!!! I wish just it was a little bit more clean! Old bottles were standing in my seat and beside was a bit dirty

The van was comfortable and the driver drove well. Communication with the company via WhatsApp was efficient, and they picked me up at my hotel. However, we arrived at the airport more than an hour later than the time I had been told. It wasn’t an issue for me because I had planned enough time, but don’t expect to arrive at the exact time indicated. The van didn’t go directly to the airport: we were dropped off in Hanoi and had to switch to a car. We had to wait 20–30 minutes for the driver to arrive. In addition, the car driver who picked me up at the hotel to bring me to the van drove very aggressively, and I did not feel comfortable with him at all.

I booked my trip for 2pm and they kept insisting on picking me up at 1:30pm. It wasn’t what I expected.

Great communication, and flexibility, and kind staff.

Drivers rude Put a lot of the bags in the middle of the walkway so didn’t have much room on either side of seats, felt very cramped. Occasional dangerous driving.

They were punctual and always responded to my requests very quickly, I definitely recommend it.

They dropped us off at a completely stiffener spot than what we had booked. Even when I pointed it out and they saw the google coordinates they had sent me they just said it was wrong.

We had to change van. The driver made many stops in the way to deliver parcels and pick up and drop off people.

It not the experience I was expecting. We were picked up at the airport by car to take us to the limo bus which took over an hour since the driver also picked up another passenger which we were not expecting nor was it communicated to us. We had to ride one bus to NinhBinh then had to transfer to another bus to get get us to Tam Coc. We got here, I guess at the end of the day, that is the important thing.

Overcrowded shared taxi to the station, waiting every time.

The 3 star rating is because we didn’t receive details from the company as to exact time of departure and that there would be two transfers of vehicles along the way. Firstly we booked a minivan from Hanoi to Tam Coc with a departure time of 9 am. We arrived at the pickup spot at 8:10 and the driver was already there waiting for us. A few minutes earlier they even called us to ask where we were. So a driver was rushing us into his car ( not minivan) without any explanations whatsoever. We weren’t even 100% certain we were even doing the right thing! So he drives us a few blocks and then picks up another extremely confused couple who thought they were getting a private transfer. Again, no explanation, just sqeeze us all in. He continues to drive and we all think that unfortunately we will be doing the 2 hour drive sqished in this car, disappointed, hoping to god our baby won’t start to fuss. Another 15-20 minute drive through streets of Hanoi and all of a sudden we stop at a place where the minivan (the one depicted in their posting) was waiting. A huge sigh of relief, we all transferred over to the extremely comfortable van. The next part of the trip was super comfortable and smooth, exactly as we had all originally expected. However, once we got to Ninh Binh we stopped once again and were told to get in another, older and uncomfortable minivan, no explanations. That last part of the trip, about 20 minutes, was uncomfortable due to old seats and just generally old everything. Why can’t this company give people clearer explanations, show they care somewhat about their travellors, this way when they know at least what to expect they won’t need to worry.

Everything ok. They came ti take us at the homestay,than we changed 3 car but we were perfectly in time. No problem and a very convinient fee

We had to transfer in 3 different cars and drive one our in the city before we leave.

They supposed to arrived at the airport at 18:30 and they arrive at 19:45. The driver from hanoi to the airport when we was leaving he turn back to pick up other costumers and then he had to drop them somewhere else. The organization was not good and also even we where late he drive very slowly

There was a slight mix up with pick up as I wasn't able to choose our hotel Lion King - Tam Coc but the driver called and was able to pick us up which was great / thank you driver.

Two bus and one car, would have been nice to know ahead of time. Arrived to airport early which was nice though

He tries to scam you

We started in a comfortable bus. All good. Then 30 minutes in we had to get out and get into another bus. Now some other people who were not on the previous bus got into that bus so there was no room for us anymore. At some point we got into this second bus. Far less comfortable, way more people way less room. Now comes the kicker tho. Bus stops, we need to get out again and are put into small cars. I count even sit up straight anymore and my luggage got crammed into 3 different vehicles. Overall not great.

We had unexpected change of vehicle in Hanoi,but it was without any issues. The driver of car from Hanoi to Noi Bai Airport was very helpful and friendly. Would recommend.
