We are not satisfied with the service. The driver refused to pick us up at the hotel because he could not drive his all-wheel drive vehicle (Toyota Fronterer) on the stuck sand path in the rain. We had to wade through puddles in the pouring rain with our luggage.

We booked door to door service with the fixed pick-up time. The driver was on time, a day before departure I got a WhatsApp message with a picture of the car and the reminder of the pick-up time from a taxi operator. The car was rather old, back doors were broken, so our luggage have to be put through passenger door into a trunk, awkward but this was fine. The long line of departing tourists by the Koh Chang ferry and corresponding traffic congestions in Bangkok added to the travel time approximately 2 hours, so take this into account: depart your hotel early if you're traveling to airport or need to be strictly on time at the arrival. Driver did bot speak English well, but he was using Google translate if wanted to tell us something, which was very clever way of interacting. But three stars mainly because of the risky and erratic driving. The speed was extensively exceeded, road bumps were neglected and lanes changes way too often, resulting us to be worried. One more thing: when giving money to a driver for the Koh Chang ferry, he never returned the change. Though the amount was 40 Baht, this is about principle.

1 hour late, when I called they had no idea they had a pick-up and I was waiting to go to the airport to return the other side of the Earth (very expensive flight to miss! Not Good!) , when a car showed up it was not the advertised car. Last, when the driver dropped us off He ASKED for a tip. Yea I know they don't know tip culture, in the US we would be fired for asking a customer for a tip, against common policies to ask. But dude, you were an hour late. Its considered highly offensive to ask for a tip, and it was very offensive how much of a rush it put on the rest of our day taking up one hour of my preplanned buffer time I installed into my decision making for the day of travel. It sucked. Why 2 stars and not one? Because 1 stars get less views. I suggest making sure someone knows you booked and will be there, for other services through 12go, i suggest the same or similar to ensure you receive the quality of service you and your families need.
