The “speed” boat was nearly 1hr late at the Bang Rong Pier :( we were told to meet at Railey Pier East but then we’re out into a long tail boat (poorly explained by the staff what’s happening), to get to another place to get on the truck, then to get to Ao Nang ferry pier where it all felt chaotic with the bags being put on the actual speed boat and people cramming into the boat. Overall it wasn’t a good experience.

The journey was bumpy though- be prepared - due to the weather
Everything was smooth, and the journey on the ferry actually only took around 90 mins which we were surprised about. We paid 200 to upgrade to VIP where we enjoyed the top deck basically by ourselves and had some included drinks and snacks. All in all, not a single complaint

This was not a direct ferry via speedboat as was advertised. Our purchase stated 70 min trip and this was 2.5 hours with multiple stops.
