I had a very frustrating experience with 12Go. I accidentally booked a ferry ticket for the wrong date. The booking was not used, and I contacted 12Go as soon as I realized the mistake to ask if the booking could be changed or refunded. Unfortunately, I did not receive useful assistance or a clear solution. I understand that mistakes can happen when making a booking, but I expected some flexibility or at least proper customer support, especially since I contacted them shortly after making the mistake. Instead, I was repeatedly redirected without actually getting a solution. The booking itself may be convenient, but my experience with customer service was extremely disappointing. I would strongly recommend double-checking every detail before confirming a booking, because if something goes wrong, getting help can be very difficult.

The trip on the return journey was a little scary and the driver was brilliant. He/she had issues on the approach of the island. There were lots of people’s personal items all over the place, the chairs were sliding all over the place too. One bottle of pop ended up in the sea, now I know this was the passengers fault but I think some for of alert should be sounded when the sea becomes choppy. The captain of the boat did a fab job, no denying that! This was the 3.30 from Koh Tao to Samui.

The trip itself was pretty good. Smoother than I thought it would be. It was in one of the larger speed boats and seats were good with plenty of legroom. Was a little bit hectic at the port, but moved reasonably quickly onto the boat.
