It was an amazing experience. It takes 5h 30 mins with stop for food and border control. It is better to book from Kilikia Bus station as it is easier location where the operator arcomfort.am as the office and the minivan is located at the same location.

The car was in terrible condition: the engine was clearly faulty, the car stalled several times, and loud pops came from the exhaust pipe periodically.

I was contacted to say that the 3pm journey that I had booked was not going ahead and that I could go at 1pm or 5pm. I really appreciated the communication and choice of other times. Having previously done the journey in the opposite direction, I was more confident with the pick up location. We stopped for a break to get fuel about halfway to the border and changed vehicles on the Georgian side. The driver showed us a picture of the license plate and vehicle that would collect us on the other side. I should say that the Corolla was having some transmission issues but we still arrived in good time.
