Terrible experience, stay away. I was staying overnight in a hostel only 2 blocks from the departure point where I must meet the bus but in the morning I receive a text message which was sent to me while asleep at 23:30 to meet in another location for pickup, because of early departure public transport was not available but only a taxi which would add even more cost to my trip. Quite suspect and unreliable confirmation process. I am still awaiting my refund from 12go...

The driver insisted on waiting on another vehicle that was his “buddy” it caused us to be nearly 3 hours late from the time estimated by the tickets. The driver did not care about the customers time.

The trip went well. When arriving at Avlabari, I was accompanied to the vehicle. It was a small minivan for 7 persons and enough space for luggage. The driver spoke basic English but well enough. I was in Azerbaïdjan before but had no particular issues crossing the border. The drive in itself was confortable: the road was in good shape, the driving was fast but still acceptable and the risk was measured. If you’re bothered by the driver looking at his phone then just take the train or a flight, that is just how they drive in the region.
