The aircon worked well. The website was deceiving for the amount of time I actually took to get to Budva not adding the fact that there is roadworks taking over two hours more than they expected time more stopovers due to fact there’s no toilets would be good for travel time like this. seats were broken and I was already checking of tickets before going on the bus.

Nightmare trip from Dubrovnik to Budva. We took a bus from Dubrovnik, Croatia to Budva, Montenegro. To start with, the bus was an hour late—instead of departing Dubrovnik at 10 a.m., it only showed up at 11. The staff at the station weren’t particularly friendly or helpful in explaining what was going on, or when we could actually expect to leave. After the bus finally arrived at 11, we got underway, but we quickly realized the service quality of this bus company was terrible. The bus was old, not particularly clean, the air conditioning barely worked, and it was extremely hot inside. To top it off, the journey was far longer than expected. What should have taken about two hours and a half by private car ended up taking over six hours. We left at 11 a.m. and didn’t arrive in Budva until 6 p.m. The experience was awful. We had no water, no food, and barely any breaks. Fortunately, during one of the border stops, I managed to run to an immigration office and fill up a bottle of tap water. That was the only hydration we had.

Driver was good. We were supposed to arrive at 22:15 but we finally arrived at 23:15 We were stuck at the border during almost 1 hour without any A/C it was terrible. The guy ask 2€ for each bag in the bus hold.

Terrible experience. Broken seats, dirty smelly bus. The seat next to me did not have a back. The bus reached its destination 2 hours after schedule. Bus driver stopped midway to buy groceries. The bus did not reach its final stop, instead dropped us in another station and drove off without explanation. A transfer was arranged after 40 minutes.

We expected the trip to take 2 and a half hours whereas in fact it took 6 and a half hours. Driver did his best in the circumstances. The bus was an Hour late. The journey was advertised as 2 and a half hours when in fact it was 6 and a half hours. This was due to severe traffic at the border checks, the border checks themselves (two checks) a ferry trip and the fact that there are no bypasses in Montenegro so you have to enter every town and city. There is poor air con and no phone chargers. This is false advertising.

The bus itself seemed to be wearing. The availability of the bus route, and departure time option. There was no AC on the bus and the ventilation above the seat did not seemes to be effective. The interior of bus was about tired. There was a strip light missing. The emergency exit in the roof would not stay up to at least allow some air to pass in. The scheduled time does not allow for the border check and my destination arrival in Budva was 1 hour after.
