Suwannason road, Aranyaprathet, Sa Kaeo 27120, Thailand
Rong Klua Market is a border market in the Aranyaprathet district of Sa Kaeo province, around 223kms east of Bangkok close to the Cambodian border. The market has its very own bus station, with buses departing from Bangkok’s Mochit and Ekamai terminals regularly throughout the day.
The train station in Aranyaprathet makes arriving here by train simple, with tuk-tuks and motorbike taxis connecting the railway station to Rong Klua Market. From the market, buses depart for Bangkok, Nakhon Ratchasima, Chachoengsao and other towns in the province. There are also plenty of taxis on hand.
The Rong Klua Market bus station sits at the very end of the market just a stone’s throw away from the border and Thailand Immigration. The bus station has a covered, but open waiting area with ticket offices and snack vendors, though it is better to grab snacks at the nearby 7-Eleven. Buses are often fully booked, so it is better to reserve online ahead of time.
Besides Rong Klua Market itself, there are few places of interest here, as it is predominantly a stopping point for those going to and coming from Cambodia. There are a number of places to stay in the area, such as Indochina Hotel, Aran Garden 2 Hotel, Aran Mermaid Hotel and Ban Suan Resort.
