Tkhjmwh7wb booked this transfer through 12Go specifically because it was advertised as the fastest option available and was significantly more expensive than several alternatives.
Unfortunately, the actual journey was heavily delayed and took much longer than scheduled. In the end, I would have arrived considerably later than planned if I had not arranged and paid for additional transportation myself in Krabi.
What makes this particularly frustrating is that I deliberately chose the most expensive option to save time. Had I known that the schedule would not be met, I could have booked one of the much cheaper alternatives available locally and achieved a very similar result.
I understand that delays can happen, but when a premium-priced service fails to deliver its main selling point, there should be some form of compensation or partial refund. Based on this experience, I do not feel that the service provided matched the price paid.

Lucy MFerry was on time and seats were clean, AC was also good. Toilets looked pretty disgusting though. Then at Donsak Pier nobody knows where you have to go for Ramon Transport and we had to wait about 35 minutes until the Minivan picked us up.

Joana SThe driver arrived 25 minutes late. And because of that the driver was driving super fast to the airport to be on time for our departure, we didn’t feel safe.
I have to say he send us message saying that was arriving 15min late and communicating with us till he arrived (that was good to know at least).
But he didn’t seem friendly and didn’t say a word all the way, not a ‘hi’ or a ‘bye’.

Muriel FIn summary: 45 minutes late to our hotel, they demanded an extra charge even though we had already paid for the pickup in Samui. The van ride was unpleasant because the driver was speeding, exceeding the speed limit. Upon arrival, we were left to fend for ourselves, waiting 20 minutes before seeing another van. I therefore do not recommend this company.

Cassie Mappreciate the instructions with the photo of the meeting point at the desk. the only thing that confused me was Ramon logo was not anywhere and it seems strange for a random guy to say, get in this van (with a different company logo) and there is no paperwork with him where I can prove my name is on his list. But from what I experienced in Asia, that’s how things work. Nothing really formal or structured so I really appreciate 12Go and the whatsapp contact details to feel more reassured about the plan.

Judith VPractically everything went well, the train was late but their main business is transferring people to/from the (night) train, so they will wait. However, the driver was speeding like crazy, even when there were road works. It didn’t feel safe at all. Also, when I tried to call about the train delay (which they tell you to do) none of the phone numbers was working

Chris KOne of the worst travel experiences ive had in Thailand, Ramon driver did not use gps, drove around in circles on the phone, did not show copy of our voucher so no confirmation if we were supposed to be on that transfer, did not give any information on transport in samui, which led to the driver of 8312-13 of cpds to scream at me in thai because he kept saying taxi taxi, i explained i didnt need a taxi as i paid for transport already, i called the hotline and apparently this driver that screamed at me had my picture and knew to pick me up, when i walked back over to him he just pointed at another van, i stood outside that van for 15 minutes before that driver let me on, highly unprofessional and rude, do not recommend this transport to anyone save your money and sanity get a grab once you arrive in samui

Sebastian NThe ship was alright, but when we arrived to the pier they let us waiting 1.5 hours in the van waiting for more people from other ship that was arriving later to fill in all the seats of the van. Finally, the van arrived more than an hour late to our final destination. I tried to communicate with the hello line during the trip, but the communication was difficult as they don’t speak good English.

The busdrive was packed. Even the seat next to the drive was used. The drive was alright and on time.
The Speedcatamaran started 2 hours late without explanation from the operator.
All in all we arrived Ko Tao at 8:45 pm instead of 5 pm.
The most receptions on Ko Tao close at 9 pm.

Christian JBooked Koh Phi Phi - Koh Tao from 10:00-17:00 with speedboat option from Donsak to Koh Tao. It was overall good. Just the arrival time of the last boat was in fact 17:45 by schedule and 19:30 in reality (I assume because of strong waves, not the company’s fault).
There was also no speedboat at that time from Donsak to Koh Tao, everybody had to take the Catamaran.

Dimitrii Ethe departure time was moved 2 hours earlier, citing that the day boat was cancelled. They sent a new voucher with an arrival time of 15:45 instead of 17:30. As a result, we left 2 hours earlier, and the cancelled boat turned out to be a sham. In fact, the arrival time was 17:30, as stated, the departure time was 8:45 instead of 11:00. The trip was 2 hours longer than stated

Waited from 4 am to 7 am when they picked us up and dropped us off exactly in the resort.
Reason why I give 3 stars was because the driving was quite stressful. The driver couldn’t stop overtaking other vehicles and going faster that the van was sounding like it was about to explode.

Bethany KThe first leg of our journey on the ferry was great, the van connection however was a little questionable. The van itself had a cracked windscreen in multiple areas, the engine management light was on and the guy driving shouldn’t have been. He was all over the roads, constantly on his phone, not looking at all… we would speed up and then take his foot off the gas constantly for the whole 2.5 hour journey across country. Safe to say we were very pleased to be getting out of the van.

Yufei WThe pier of Phi Phi Island is very disorganized. You have to cross the pier, and Ramon Transport is sitting there next to other transporters under a ‘tent’. We showed our booking on 12go, and they gave us the ticket. We could immediately take a seat even though we arrived 30 minutes before departure. We departed on time, and everything went smoothly. When we arrived at Tonsai Pier, the staff took all the suitcases for us, which is very kind of them. Thank you, guys!

Bastian SThere werent any driver waiting and some of the guys there tried to say that the bus were late and that we had to go with him to catch the other boat. But we stayed and the bus came after 20 min. The bus was too packed and we had to change busses as well

Paora DWell they got us there, and in their defence, on reading the fine print, I see they recommend leaving 5 hours for the Phi phi to Krabi airport transfer(ferry & van) so they did their job. But we were supposed to arrive at the airport at 11.30 before check in closed at 12.10(the 2.5 hour transfer advertised). We waited for some stragglers from our ferry so didn’t leave the port for the airport til 11.40 which obviously had us on edge. And then half way through the journey, the driver stops on the side of the road and just lights up a cigarette. As it turns out, another van, I presume coming from another port pulls up behind us and half the passengers from each van are put in the other van according to their destination. Makes sense but our driver didn’t speak a lick of English so no one had any idea what the hell was going on, with 15 minutes til our check in closed. With our combined, rudimentary Thai, asked him to step on the gas. The 8 of us on the same flight arrived at the airport 2 minutes before check in closed and obnoxiously pushed past the queue of other people checking in and made it on the flight by the skin of our teeth. To Ramon: Teaching three drivers to explain what is happening would help a lot, and answer your helpline if you have one. And to travellers: Leave 5 hours for this transfer.

Djelissa Dbad experience, the driver does not stop to go to the toilet but stops so that he can get something to eat for him! unacceptable, it was not a 9-seater van but rather a coach with at least 16 people, with the clutter of suitcases in the corridor of the coach, no air conditioning!!!!

The support was hard to get at phone and didn’t called us back.

Lydia RVan pick up was great with lots of space, comfortable journey. Ferry ride was not like expected. Thin mattresses on floor with over 40 people in room.

Karina NSat in reception from 8.30, checked out of room as per the booking. Received a call to say pick up was now 9.40
Got to the ferry terminal at 2pm & gate closed so had to wait another hour for a crossing, because of picking up people from other ferry crossings
The journey was long enough, without wasting an additional 2 hours of the day.
All drivers were polite & no problem

Chelsea Hpicked us up at 9 and took us to krabi pier to then say we are setting off at 11 instead because there was not enough people. set off around 11:15 for the 9am set off. bus ride after was fine (krabi to surat thani port around 2.5 hours) and got straight onto ferry (to koh samui about 2 hours)

Michael FEverything went super smooth, from booking online, using the e-ticket at the boat check-in (Koh Phi Phi), the driver stood (as promised per email) with our names written on a sign st the pier in Krabi to pick us up and brought us to our final destination (Surat Thani train station, which some 15 km out of town). Thanks to 12Go.asia and Ramon transports for this flawless journey!

Nathanael ANormally don’t do reviews but felt the need to calm nerves if worried about other reviews.
It was surprisingly good! After reading all the reviews everywhere it was hard not to be worried! The taxi picked us up from the hotel in Ao nang and dropped us at the bus depot in krabi with time to spare, bus to Surat Thani was A/C and comfortable. Had around 2/3 in Surat Thani so went to eat (loads of good places nearby - Milano was super close and tasty!) and then onto the boat! We obviously were quite lucky with the boat being not at all full so we got a nice couple of top bunks with fans and plugs! Slept well and couldn’t really feel the ‘rocking’ boat as described by others but was probably lucky with the weather! Anyway, only complaint is the smoking area outside has a vent next to it that allows the smell to travel into the sleeping area but wasn’t all the time at all so assume the guy smoking just sat blowing into the vent for fun? Anyway, definitely good trip and had little to worry about!

Joseph CDriver was 2 hours late, which made us panic, along the journey he would pull over, get out and leave us in the taxi for 10-20mins without saying anything. In light of all this, he did get us there with 2 hours to spare for the ferry as it doesn’t leave until 10pm.

kyle Pvan picked us up from our hotel which was nice and comfortable but everything else sucked. we got dropped off at the pier with 4 hours before departure- there is no where to go in this area so we just sat on the boat waiting for 10pm. the actual boat it self was extremely uncomfortable with tiny short/thin beds which were all somewhat moist. people smoking in the downstairs inside and cockroaches around the beds too. overall a gross experience but it got us to the island lol
