Janie RSmooth process from start to finish. I was worried after reading the reviews but we picked our tickets up at the Samui Phantip office where they were very organised. Ferry was smooth and on time. Easy to locate the Krabi bus, it took a while to leave but nothing to complain about. Journey was fine, driver did not speed, and drove responsibly in heavy rain. We had backpacks and did not have to pay any extra to put them in the hold. The guy measured people's suitcases and large ones were charged 100 baht.

Ani SThe transfer was ok and on time once I found the car. The pickup was very unclear and very badly communicated. They mark the pick up point as a statue in Ao Nang beach, then have you pick a hotel. My hostel was not listed, so I had to pick something else nearby. Then I contacted support who told me to wait at the nearest bus stop. What kind of direction is that in Thailand? No side of the street, no clear coordinates. Thank god someone from 12go called me 5 minutes before the departure, otherwise I'm not sure I would have found the driver.

Fredrik MThe van left 1.5h late due to too few people booked (but that was a lie as it pulled into the terminal full of people just before we got it) it was obsiously just late from the previous trip.
Driver drove like he stole the van. Literally no one overtook us on they way, we were faster than everyone on the road.
Seat belts in the van are not 3point and will most likely kill you in a crash.

Radek KComfort on boat and in a bus was good. But what I don’t liked about it, was no information at all. You buy a ticket and you know only one thing - go to Phantip travel 1 hour before. No information about anything else. possibility to buy food on boat or while the road in bus. On the way in bus, first stop was at the gas station and the driver tells you no food. Then he stopped at the second stop, with no good food… I was really afraid to buy anything without end in hospital, sorry…

New well maintained minibuses.They are never as comfortable as a big bus but the air con worked & the seats were in good condition.
The drivers were helpful and drove well.
There is a half hour break and vehicle change at Krabi bus station where you can buy food and drinks.
Pay 100 baht extra for a hotel drop off.

The bus:
The chairs were comfortable. The power outlets didn’t work. Bus felt like it was on the older side which is fine but there did seem to be a lot of exhaust fumes in the interior. My eyes burned and I had a headache for the second half of the trip.
The nice thing was that the driver stopped at 2 locations along the way to get out and stretch, use the washrooms, and grab a bite to eat at the local establishment.

Marcin KDuring my trip, I was informed that there was no transportation available from the ferry port to my hotel. I did not receive a refund. I had to call a taxi and incur additional costs.

Byron SComfortable bus to Krabi,then had to wait a while for a mini van to Ao Lang, dropped me at my hotel. All the staff looked after me and guided me.

Margot FGood bus, everything was clear, driver was in time. But they take us fees for extra luggage while the bus was empty only 8 people in a 30 bus seats… bit annoying because plenty of space.

Katty CSuper easy, someone was waiting for us at the exit of the trainstation. While waiting for the van we had the possibility to eat and drink something and go to the toilet. Drop off right in front of the ferry terminal and at arrival on the pier in Koh Samui again a van waiting for us. It was a nice and worry-free experience.

Rowena PThe trip was great and on time. I enjoyed it.However it was very difficult to find the Phantip office and then to get from there to the ferry. If the taxi driver did not wait for me I would not have been able to get to the pier with my luggage. It is difficult for a 72 year old. Thete should be an office at the pier or else transport to the pier

Anna KWhen I went to the pier at Surat Thani, I wasn’t sure which was the right boat, but just asked. The workers helped me.
If you ask the people very nice they will always help you!! The lady at the ticket Check in Even scant my QR-Code for the Ferry ticket, because I was fully packed😂
One thing when I arrived at the pier, coming from the Airport, I only had 15 min. till my ferry would have left. So you should definitely check your leaving time!
