Very kind and helpful driver and assistant. I traveled on the night bus from Trincomalee to Colombo, and they kindly let me get off earlier so I could continue directly to Negombo without making an unnecessary trip into Colombo and back so early in the morning. They also helped me with everything I needed. I really appreciated their kindness and would happily recommend this service. Thank you!
While the driver was at least able to communicate with passengers, the overall experience was disappointing.
The bus arrived late, and the restroom stop was particularly concerning. In the middle of the night, we were dropped off in a poorly lit area that was not suitable or safe for women traveling alone who needed to use the toilet. It felt very unsafe.
The final stop in Trincomalee was also unclear and did not match the location stated on the ticket. Arriving at 4:00 AM, I was fortunate that other passengers helped me find available accommodation so that I could get somewhere safe.
In addition, the seats barely reclined, making it very difficult to rest, and the music on the bus was far too loud throughout the journey.
Overall, I would not recommend taking the overnight bus with this company, especially for solo female travelers. I would not choose this service again.
The bus was dirty, and old inside... broken handles and you had to enter quickly, the driver didn't have the time and started to drive when I still didnt have my place. A super vipbus unworthy
The location of the bus stop is not clear enough. The stated address, the gps marks & the photo that shows on the ticketing pdf files are not coop with each other. Very confused! I wish this could be make better for the future passengers. As English communication is not that good in general here in Sri Lanka. Thk u!
The Avro travels people were very kind and super helpful and I took the Annai Muthumari bus from Jaffna to Colombo and it was the best bus ride I have taken in a long time. Great service!
