JR Tohoku-South Hokkaido Rail Pass

Conventional lines

• JR East Lines (Tohoku Area): All JR lines in Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi, Akita, Yamagata, and Fukushima.
• JR Hokkaido Lines (Southern Hokkaido): Covers Hakodate, Sapporo, Otaru, Chitose, Muroran, etc.
• Aomori Railway: Full access.
• IGR Iwate Galaxy Railway: Full access.
• Sendai Airport Transit: Full access.
• JR East BRT: Specifically, the Kesennuma and Ofunato Line BRT services.

Routes and ferries not covered

• Tokyo/Kanto Area: You cannot use this pass to travel to or within Tokyo, Chiba, Saitama, or Kanagawa.
• Tokaido Shinkansen: Not covered.
• Donan Isaribi Railway: The line between Goryokaku and Kikonai.
• Private Railways: Any lines not listed above (e.g., Akita Nairiku Railway).
• JR Buses: No highway buses or local route buses are included.
• Ferries: No ferry services are covered.

• Exchange your voucher for tickets at the office

Important information

• Validity: Valid for 6 consecutive days from the date of activation.
• Eligibility: Exclusive to non-Japanese passport holders with ""Temporary Visitor"" status.
• Seat Upgrades: If you wish to use Green Cars or Gran Class, the pass only covers the base fare. You will need to pay additional charges for the Limited Express and seat/facility fees.
• Non-Transferable: The pass is only for the individual named on it. It cannot be reissued if lost or stolen.
