Svan Yeah really good experience. Details all add up. You go to the immigration office in Langkawi 2 hours before, hand them your passport and fill out your immigration forums. Then you wait till 30 minutes before departure. The boat is big and spacious, didn’t feel the ocean much. Once you arrive at Koh lipe, you’ll get on a small boat for the last 2 minutes in, leave your baggage behind and do the pass control in Koh lipe as well, 200bht entry for everyone, but there is a atm there. Recommend sitting close to the doors/entry, so you get of early… as the que on land gets long.

Anthony RGood ride, only 5 minutes late. Drove quickly, it was 4h instead of 4h30-5h ride.
Only annoying issue was the roof in the car who was not well fixed and made a lot of noise everytime there was a bump/hole in the road, and as all the roads were bad, we had non stop noise..

Alexandra BI would not recommend this bus company, or rather its driver. On the way up from Ipoh to Tanah Rata we had a different company with a driver who drove very gentle through the bendy mountains roads. This way back down the CS driver however, thought he was operating a fast motorcycle and drove like crazy. Several people got sick from it but he did not change a thing.

Elliott GBus was on time and took less time than estimated. 1 toilet break half way. Bus seats were huge and reclined really well with a foot rest. The driver drove really fast and wrecklessly. Very fast around tight corners and slammed on brakes. The seats were comfy but were loose and rocked back on forth every time we sped up / brakes. Also the booking said there would be stops for food but there was only 1 stop which was toilet cubicles and vending machines ( they only had drinks and ice creams in so not food…)
