- Kereta api memang berjalan mengikut jadual, tetapi tidak mengikut jadual bukanlah sesuatu yang luar biasa untuk perjalanan dengan kereta api. Kelewatan juga mungkin teruk, jadi jika anda merancang sambungan ke penerbangan anda, semak dengan teliti masa kereta api tiba di stesen dan pertimbangkan dengan baik.
- Kebersihan kadangkala menjadi isu dengan tiket kelas kedua dan ketiga, begitu juga dengan tandas.

Robert MSeorang penjual tiket yang boleh bertutur dalam bahasa Inggeris dengan sempurna. Apa yang tidak disukai? Bagi mereka yang menikmati deruman kereta api mungkin akan sembuh daripada keghairahan ini selepas menaiki kereta api selama 8 minit di mana hon dibunyikan setiap minit atau lebih kerana laluan tanah yang tidak berkesudahan melintasi garisan tersebut. Bagi saya juga, hakikat bahawa anda tidak boleh membuka sebarang tingkap - maksud saya di dalam gerabak, di Vietnam, anda boleh membuka separuh bahagian atas pintu. Itu satu keseronokan yang mengejutkan. Kereta api ini bergerak begitu perlahan sehingga selancar Eurostar. Tetapi tempat duduknya sangat selesa, penghawa dingin yang kuat, tandas moden yang bersih, lebih daripada separuh kereta api kosong. Oleh kerana lampu di dalam kereta api menyala, anda tidak dapat melihat apa-apa di luar sebaik sahaja gelap. Tetapi, ia adalah perjalanan kereta api sebelum kereta api laju.

Anni PBas itu sangat mewah - luas, moden dan bersih. Malah tandas itu mewah. Terdapat kemungkinan untuk mengecas telefon anda di ruang tidur anda. Hanya tolaknya - ia sangat sejuk di dalam bas! Letakkan pakaian yang mencukupi (stokin hangat kerana anda perlu tanpa kasut, seluar hangat dan baju). Terdapat selimut tetapi ia tidak mencukupi untuk memanaskan badan.

Scanlon HIa adalah satu pengalaman yang patut dicuba. Saya dapati tempat duduk di sebelah kecil jadi agak tidak selesa kerana kereta api agak penuh. Perjalanan adalah kira-kira 3 jam dan harga yang sangat berpatutan.

Pyungchul KTempahan dan daftar masuk di platform sangat lancar. Terdapat dua kereta api dan saya terpaksa meminta orang ramai mencari yang mana satu untuk Kep. Kereta api itu berjalan sangat laju di kebanyakan kawasan rual dan tiba di Kep sejam lebih awal daripada yang dikatakan tiket. Bunyi dari enjin, roda dan hon kadangkala tidak dapat ditanggung, tetapi lebih baik daripada perjalanan tidak selamat dengan bas dan teksi. Kereta api itu sendiri memerlukan penyelenggaraan. Tingkap tersekat dan kipas rosak.

Karl RIt was very cold on the train. Even with request to raise temperature, the low temperature remained and we had to endure the cold. We sat next to the door that led to the toilet area and the smell from the toliet went to the carriage and the smell was horrible. We tried to look for another pair of seats but they were all occupied. The worst was the timing. The train was one hour late and stopped multiple times for unknown reasons. We arrived in our destination one and a half hour later. It was quite disappointing!

Ase DTickets with seat numbers, but no number on the seats on the train. Only 2 wagons and a lot of people, anybody could sit anywhere, the train was packed. Seats were benches, not very confortable.
Only 1 train a day and only 2 wagons is rather surprising. Train arrived 35 minutes late.

Conor BBus from Sihanoukville to Kampot was great. On time both departing and arriving. The staff on board were very helpful. We had booked a 2pm boat to Koh Rong but the staff member on the bus informed us we would arrive in time to take the earlier 12pm boat. We also enjoyed the croissant and water provided on board

Maxime BBus was on time and everything fine.
But 15 min from the start, the bus broke down.. it can happen but after 15 minutes.. then we were happy because they sent another bus (=they are resourcefull) and we loose only 30 minutes BUT, the replacement bus was lot older and didn't have safety belt which for me is a redflag. By chance my stop was 15 min later.. but other passagers had a 10h ride..

Bill KTrain travelled at about 30 km/h. Took 9.5 hours to cover 250 km travelling at this speed. The horn on the train was being activated every 10 seconds and be the time we got to Phnom Penh the train carriage was so cold we were shivering

Jan KTrain was a great option for travel between Phnom Penh and Kampot, took 3.5 hours (not much difference to going by road). Only one daily at 7am in a quaint single carriage rumbling through the countryside. Would highly recommend.

Rebecca MGreat trip from Phnom Penh to Kampot. Perfect temperature wagon, seats clean and comfortable and a good experience. Plus they stopped for toilet and snacks. The staff were lovely and I’d highly recommend the train services as a mode of transport in Cambodia.

Katie MTrain was over an hour late, we had booked our tickets online and selected seats to sit together but were then told just to sit in whatever seats were free so we had to sit separately. Fabulous views on the train journey and it’s apparently quicker and much more comfortable than travelling from Kampot to Sihanoukville by car or bus because the roads are so bad.

Ian MIt was the strangest, crazily enjoyable travel experience I think we've ever had. I'm pretty sure the original train must have broken down somewhere so we were late departing but the staff in the station kept us informed. There were mostly foreign nationals making the trip to Kampot and what a trip it was. Firstly the train that turned up was a self powered single carriage machine that we doubted would fit everyone on but it did.. however the poor railway staff did have to sit on plastic chairs bless them. So eventually we set off but the Aircon units on parts of the carriage were leaking water quite badly in places so the staff placed bin bags on the luggage racks to contain the water.. however water was still leaking onto passengers below so bin bags were issued to the affected passengers in an attempt to protect them. We thought we were quite fortunate as our Aircon unit wasn't leaking directly onto us but onto the floor in front of our seats.. Our luck ran out a bit later when we encountered a thunder storm and water was leaking onto us through the partly opened doors and perished window seals.. luckily we had thin plastic raincoats with us so we wore those until we cleared the thunderstorm. The initial journey time given was 1 hour 40 minutes but the journey, with several long stops, took around 3 and a half hours including the train stopping to drop off passengers on a level crossing in one of the small towns we passed through. It was a hilarious, slightly damp experience but one I don't regret in the slightest. All the passengers took the situation with a smile and the staff tried their very best to make us as comfortable as possible. Overall It was a unique but strangely enjoyable experience which we will never forget.
