Mui Ne Hotels, Campgrounds & Resorts

Phan Thiet, Ham Tien, and even Mui Ne proper have a long list of worthy accommodation options to choose from. Whether you want a shared room that will cost you less than USD10, or an entire house on the beach for around USD60 per night, this city has you covered. With a little research ahead of time, you’ll be able to find the perfect place to lay your head no matter what your budget.

Budget

The closer to Mui Ne you get, the cheaper your lodging options will be. Especially for those willing to stay inland, instead of directly in front of the beach, you’ll be able to save generously.

For travellers on a serious budget, this city is traditionally known for its beach camping. While not as widespread as it once was, the option still remains.

The Long Son Mui Ne Campgrounds offer accommodations from tents to dorms, both of which are fully outfitted for tourists; no need to bring a sleeping bag or sheets. This spot offers free wifi, cheap drinks, and a breath-taking beach to call your own for a few days. Dorms run about USD7 and tents closer to USD4. If you’re looking to save money without sacrificing on location, this should be your go-to. (706 St., Hon Rom, Long Son)

Of course, not everyone’s into roughing it campground style, and if that’s the case, there are still a host of budget options to choose from.

One of our favourites is Papaya Guest House. For USD13, you’ll get your own room with free wifi, air conditioning, and a great view to top it off. Guests describe this spot as relaxed and laid back, which is obvious from the surfer vibe you’ll get from other visitors. One unusual perk you won’t often find while traveling is a full gym with free use for all guests. If it’s been awhile since you’ve touched a weight or broken a sweat, this might be a good option. For slightly nicer and updated rooms with a few more amenities, you won’t have to increase your budget by much. You’ll get excellent service, just like you would at the previously mentioned budget spots, but you’ll also find nicer decor, comfortable furnishings, and more add-on options.

Mid-Range

In Ham Tien, which most people think of as Mui Ne, you’ll find perfect mid-range options. Cat Sen Auberge is one of the most popular places to stay, where travellers can escape the city centre, relax in the lovely setting, and not pay an arm and a leg. You can opt for a shared room or your own entire cottage here, and if you have the budget, we recommend the latter; the cottages - all surrounded by palm trees and hammocks - are the perfect place to return to after a day out in the sun. Prices fall under USD50, but book way ahead, as rooms and cottages fill up extremely quickly. (195 Nguyen Dinh Chieu St)

Top End

On the pricier side, you’ll find an array of beach front accommodations with loads of amenities and features. Still in Ham Thien, our top recommendation is the Mia Resort Mui Ne. This resort has all the things you want when you’re on a beach vacation. An inviting pool, beachfront access, and high end spa all work together to make Mia Resort alluring and attractive.

Stay in your own bungalow, and spend your days lounging under their beach umbrellas or sipping cocktails at their restaurant. You will pay over USD100 per night for a room here, but if you’re looking for the ultimate beach stay, this is a perfect option. (24 Nguyen Dinh Chieu St)
