De voordelen van reizen per trein

  • Het beste aan reizen per trein is dat er geen files zijn. Zelfs niet in de spits, lange weekends of tijdens het hoogseizoen.
  • Tickets kunnen snel en eenvoudig online geboekt worden. U hoeft niet naar het station te gaan, wat nog niet zo lang geleden op veel plaatsen het geval was!
  • Prijzen voor treinkaartjes zijn meestal voordeliger in vergelijking met vliegtickets, maar voor bepaalde bestemmingen en reizen kan de totale reistijd bijna gelijk zijn.
  • Hoewel reizen per trein natuurlijk langzamer is dan per vliegtuig, liggen de treinstations vaak in het centrum van de stad, wat u veel tijd bespaart om er te komen, terwijl luchthavens bijna altijd een heel eind buiten de stad liggen.
  • Reizen 's nachts stelt u in staat te besparen op een hotelkamer en goed te slapen op hetzelfde moment, in tegenstelling tot een nachtbus waar zelfs de slaapklasse niet heel comfortabel is.

The train was really good, very modern and organised. There are toilets on board and they give you a sandwich and a hot drink. Perfectly on schedule.

The AC on the train is weak in the middle of summer heat in Uzbekistan. It didn't even start until like 30 minutes after the train moved. It stopped completely at every station because it only works when the wheels move. The cabins at stations turn to be like a sauna. Also there is no Wi-FI which is a shame for first class tickets. There is no proper service of any kind on the train (no food - no drinks - nothing).

I am very disappointed with my experience. I purchased train tickets for a service that never operated. This was not due to a last-minute cancellation or an unexpected disruption; the train had been removed from the schedule well in advance, yet the website continued to sell tickets for it. What made the situation even more frustrating was that multiple tourists were affected, and everyone I spoke to had booked through the same website. This indicates that the schedule information on the website was not being kept up to date, resulting in unnecessary stress and disrupted travel plans. I hope the company improves its systems to ensure that outdated schedules are promptly removed and that future travellers do not experience the same inconvenience.

I was in a part of a coach for 4 persons. I was there with 3 nice babouchkas. They wanted to share her meals. Nice The coach was good with a samovar. But the individual lights were out of order and there were no usd sockets.

Easy and reliable to buy the tickets from 12Go. It is very difficult to climb up to the upper bed of the train. There is not enough space for one to sit upright and could only lie down. Very hot inside the cabin.

We booked a first class sleeper ticket and had a great experience. At the train station, the people brought us to a seperate place for "first class ticket booker" which was quite a little bit awkward. But everyone was kind and they brought us to the train as well, when it arrived. We had a Clean and tidy room at the train and the food From the Restaurant was pretty okay! We had a great travel and are Happy to use the train in a few days again to come Back to Taschkent.
