Thai VietJetAir is ready to be opened in September

At the peak travel season the new airline Thai VietJetAir which is a joint venture of Vietnamese VietJet carrier and Thai airline Kan Air, based in Chiang Mai, will appear on the Thai market.

At the peak travel season the new airline Thai VietJetAir which is a joint venture of Vietnamese VietJet carrier and Thai airline Kan Air, based in Chiang Mai, will appear on the Thai market. Thai VietJetAir will operate domestic and regional flights from Suvarnabhumi Airport  in Bangkok with two to three Airbus A320s. 

According to Kan Air president, Somphong Sooksanguan, the new airline will be ready to launch first flights in September. At the beginning it will operate two flights a day from Bangkok to Chiang Mai on the north and Phuket on the south.

We should clarify that new airline has not yet received Air Operator’s Certificate. And everything is just plans.
