Vietjet to fly from Ho Chi Minh to Phuket and Chiang Mai

Vietjet is preparing for the launch of two new routes to Thailand. Flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Chiang Mai and Phuket will both commence in the first half of December.

Chiang Mai comes first and the first flight on what will be a four times a week service will take off on the 12 December. These will then operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The departure times vary with each day but are a late morning departure from Ho Chi Minh’s Tan Son Nhat Airport. The return flights from Chiang Mai will leave early in the afternoon.

On the 15 December, the Ho Chi Minh to Phuket link will launch. These are also four times a week and will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Departure times are similar to those on the Chiang Mai route.

VietJet Air is a low-cost carrier and has been flying since Christmas Day 2011. The airline flies to destinations throughout Asia and is one of 12GO ASIA’s partners on routes such as Bangkok to Hanoi and Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh.
