SilkAir invites to celebrate its silver anniversary in the new aircraft

In early February the air fleet of SilkAir, the regional wing of Singapore Airlines, will be expanded with 8 new Boeing 737s, which should support the actively developing airline.

In early February the air fleet of SilkAir, the regional wing of Singapore Airlines, will be expanded with 8 new Boeing 737s, which should support the actively developing airline. Boeing 737s offers more comfort for passengers with more spacious overhead luggage compartments, new lighting systems and others.

To celebrate the delivery of new aircraft and its silver anniversary SilkAir made a very interesting offer its passengers to enjoy the delivery route from Seattle, where is factory situated, to Singapore’s Changi Airport. Except that it will be the first commercial flight of the new aircraft, it should become the record long. The flight will take 25 hours and will be operated overnight from February 7 to 8.

In the occasion for silver anniversary the airline also launches grande sale with 250 000 tickets. New Boeing 737s will serve current routes to Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Medan and Phuket from February 20 and new routes to Siem Reap, Davao, Danang, Cebu and Kochi from March 17.
