AirAsia increases Bangkok to Penang flight frequencies

Thai AirAsia has just announced it will increase flight frequencies between Bangkok and Penang. The new schedule will see two flights a day provide extra choices for people travelling between the Thai capital and the popular Malaysian resort island.

Effective from 19 May 2017, flights will double from one a day in each direction. The first flight will leave Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport at 10:50 and land in Penang at 13:35 local time. The return flight is scheduled to take off at 14:40 and touch down in Bangkok at 15:25.

The second service will depart from Bangkok at 15:40 and arrive in Penang at 18:25. The return leg sees flights take off at 18:55 and arrive back in Bangkok at 19:45.

Thai AirAsia is the Thai affiliate of Malaysia-based AirAsia. 12GO ASIA offers advance ticket reservations services for both airlines. Popular routes include Bangkok to Penang, Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur and Chiang Mai to Phuket.
