Fly Phuket to Siem Reap with 12GO ASIA partner Thai AirAsia

Thai AirAsia has just announced it is to launch a convenient route linking two of the most popular tourism hotspots in Southeast Asia. From 7 November 2016, tourists will be able to fly between the southern Thai holiday isle of Phuket and Siem Reap in Cambodia.

Siem Reap is the gateway to the fabled temples of Angkor Wat. 12GO ASIA currently offers flight services on this route, but they involve a change of aircraft in the Thai capital of Bangkok. Once the new route becomes operational, 12GO will add it to our ticketing portfolio.

According to the timetable, the outward flight from Phuket will depart at 06:20 and arrive in Siem Reap at 07:45. Passengers on the return service will leave Siem Reap at 08:40 and touch down at Phuket International Airport at 10:05.

Thai AirAsia CEO Tassapon Bijleveld noted that the new route was a logical extension of the carrier’s aspirations to extend routes to provide comprehensive coverage of the ASEAN bloc nations. He added that the route was a win-win for travellers as it provided them with a hassle free means of travelling between the World Heritage temples of Angkor’s and Phuket’s stunning beaches and nightlife.
