Embark on the ultimate Vietnam rail journey with 12GO ASIA

Following its expansion into the Vietnamese travel market, 12GO ASIA now offers convenience for travellers wishing to embark on the country’s definitive rail experience. Reunification Express trains travel between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City every day and travellers can book their seats or sleeping berths with 12GO ASIA.

The distance between the two locations is more than 1,700kms. Journey times are typically between 31 and 38 hours and depend on the particular train.
Violette Express services were introduced this year and are far quicker and come with the added bonus of being able to travel in the lap of luxury.

Reunification trains link the north and south regions of the nation and are also convenient for travellers wishing to take in multiple stops on their journeys. Services stop at stations in Hue, Danang, Quang Ngai and Nha Trang. Hoi An is an easy taxi or bus ride from Danang. The Hue-Danang stretch of the tracks is magical and follows the contours of the South China Sea around the coastline.

The line was laid down by French colonialists in the 1930s. During the Vietnam War, services were suspended and did not begin again until the end of 1976. As the nation slowly emerged as a holiday destination in the 1990s, more and more visitors started taking the train and it is now one of the most popular Vietnam experiences.
