Very tiny seats not for male European shoulders. My ferry service made stops at gili T & Gili Meno before arriving at Gili A. So we where an hour late in the end. There are direct connections.
Very friendly crew, but the AC is hardly working and they don't respect the schedule (we were 30+ minutes late when leaving). The price is a little bit lower than average.

We booked at very short notice at night and weren't sure whether the pick-up would work at 10 am. But everything was tip top. Our driver Wayan was also nice. Checking in at the port was quick and easy. We had breakfast there and then took the fast boat to the Gilis. Unfortunately it wasn't fast this time, it took almost 3 hours, but that was due to the swell. I thought it was really good that we were slower and didn't rush and jump over the waves like some people do, making you feel unsafe.

Wir haben sehr kurzfristig noch nachts gebucht und waren nicht sicher, ob das abholen un 10 Uhr morgens klappt. Aber alles tip top. Unser Fahrer wayan war auch nice. Am Hafen hat das einchecken zügig geklappt. Haben dort gefrühstückt und dann ging’s mit dem fastboot auf die gilis. Fast war’s diesmal leider nicht, hat fast 3 h gedauert, was aber dem Wellengang geschuldet war. Ich fand es sehr gut, dass wir langsamer waren und nicht wie manche über die Wellen rasen und springen und man sich unsicher fühlt.

Terrible organisation and long waits at the port on both ends
Crossing was quite pleasant but I'd advise wearing extra sun cream as you don't feel the heat with the sea breeze and AC on.

Was picked up at 6am to arrive for 7:30 and didn’t get on a boat until almost 10am. Lots of waiting around and unnecessary to be collected so early. Driver was very friendly though as a positive.
