A pullover and cover sheet were not enough.

Robert OI was pleased with my trip. Before the journey, my concerns were overcrowding, a sleepless night, having to set up the berth myself, and hunger. But my fears were unfounded. The train was uncrowded, I slept comfortably in a cozy berth, and a male attendant set up the berths himself. I was never hungry nor thirsty, because there were a lot of hawkers boarding the train from time to time to sell foodstuff. I now know that Thai Railways made sure it's passengers would be satisfied.
