The ticket giveaway will celebrate the 19th universary of Hoi An's recognition as the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999.
The current price of entrance tickets to Hoi An Ancient Town is VND80,000/VND120,000 for Vietnamese and foreign tourists respectively. To visit Thanh Ha pottery village, local tourists pay VND15,000 while foreigners shell out VND25,000.
Hoi An's mix of French Colonial influence and traditional Vietnamese customs never fail to enchant visitors.
