Northern train routes end at the Uttradit


Owing to repairs on the northern railway track since this Monday three north-bound trains terminate at Sila-art station in Uttaradit province now, the other two was canceled.


Owing to repairs on the northern railway track since this Monday three north-bound trains terminate at Sila-art station in Uttaradit province now, the other two was canceled. It is expected that repair works on the 300 km northern line will be finished until the end of October this year.  

According to The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) now to travel toward to the North passengers can use Express train No. 9 leaving Bangkok to Chiang Mai at 8:30pm, Express train No. 51 leaving at 10pm (same route) and Rapid train No. 109 leaving Hua Lamphong to Chiang Mai at 12.45pm. All of them now terminate at Sila-art station.
