Direct Doha–Danang Flights Are Planned from December, 19

Qatar Airlines are planning to launch a new direct flight between Qatar and Vietnam. Before the end of the year it will be possible to make a quick jump from Doha to Da Nang – great news for European travellers who fly to Vietnam with a stopover in Doha.

There will be four weekly flights in both directions operated by a Boeing 787 of a total capacity of 254 seats. On Monday and Saturday, there will be the morning flight from Doha to Da Nang leaving at 7.15am and arriving to Danang at 6.05pm. On Tuesday and Thursday, evening flights are scheduled, taking off at 8.10pm and landing at Danang Airport the next morning at 7.01am. Flight duration is about seven hours.

In the opposit direction there are also morning and evening departures: at 7.35pm on Monday and Saturday (arriving to Doha the next day) and at 8.30am on Wednesday and Friday.

Qatar Airlines already serve two other destinations in Vietnam. They've been flying to Ho Chi Minh since 2007 and introduced service to Hanoi in 2010. Both routes are super popular with travellers – their success as well as the fact that Da Nang is on the rise as a new tourist destination in Vietnam – has prompted the launch of Danang service.
