Golden Bridge in Danang Attracts Hordes of Tourists

Opened in June 2018 and immediately dubbed 'The Hands of God Bridge', the shimmering golden bridge has quickly become the latest most spoken of tourist draw in Vietnam.

The bridge in located amid the green forested hills of Troung Son Mountains, not far from Da Nang, a coastal city in Central Vietnam. The bridge is 150 m long and occupies commanding position in the mountains with jaw-dropping views over the surrounding landscape and Da Nang city spread in the distance. Snailing amid lush forests, the golden thread of the bridge is a spectacular sight in itself.

The architects behind the new attraction, HCMC-based TA Landscape Architecture, already have several impressive projects in their portfolio, including much spoken of Fansipan Mountain cable car in Sa Pa which continues to provoke contradictory reaction.

The pedestrian bridge of Ba Na is designed as a purely tourist attraction and can be reached from Ba Na Hills Resort, a former hill station also known as 'Da Lat of Danang province'. Founded in 1919 by French colonists, now resort is a popular weeked and vacation getaway both for locals and foreign tourists. The resort also features the longest non-stop single track cable car in the world. It was opened in 2013 and covers the 5801 m long route.

Thai AirAsia Expands Its Reach with New Routes to Shanghai and Kaohsiung

Thai AirAsia has broadened its route network with the introduction of new services to both Shanghai and Kaohsiung. The low-cost carrier (LCC) will operate five direct flights weekly between Don Mueang (DMK) and Shanghai (PVG), and four flights per week between DMK and Kaohsiung (KHH).
