Asian Wings Airways will resume flights to Chiang Mai

There is a high probability that in the new tourist season, which starts this autumn, the number of flights from Chiang Mai to other countries will be expanded. Asian Wings Airways is considering launching flights to the new destinations in Myanmar from Chiang Mai.

There is a high probability that in the new tourist season, which starts this autumn, the number of flights from Chiang Mai to other countries will be expanded.

The private airline of Myanmar Asian Wings Airways canceled its two flights a week between Mandalay and Chiang Mai recently because of the need for technical inspection of the aircraft, but they should be resumed in October this year due to expansion of the airline’s air fleet.

Furthermore, Asian Wings Airways is considering launching flights to the new destinations in Myanmar from Chiang Mai such as Nyaung, Thandwe and  Heho via Mandalay. As expected the carrier will also open flights between Thailand and China, it is going to launch Chiang Mai Kunming flights.
