The Administration of Hanoi plans to introduce cycle hire for tourists in the next year with a view to reduce traffic congestions.

The Administration of Hanoi plans to introduce cycle hire for tourists in the next year with a view to reduce traffic congestions, but there are some opinions that it will only worsen the traffic situation.

250 cycles for rent will be introduced in the most popular district Hoan Kiem, the price will be just 0,19$ per hour. Later the project will be extended to Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Danang, and Can Tho if the experiment in Hanoi succeed.
