The Siem Reap Airport expansion to be started in August

The third time the construction of new Siem Reap International Airport’ Terminal was delayed because of troubles with design and layout.

The third time the construction of new Siem Reap International Airport’ Terminal was delayed because of troubles with design and layout. As Tek Reth Samrach, the Airport director reported, its expansion to be started in August this year and will cost around US$1 billion.

At this time the land for construction is already free of trees and any buildings. The new international terminal will serve 15 million passengers per year and will be financed by two South Korean companies.
