The author of the Koh Phangan Airport is Entrepreneur Somphong Sooksanguan who invests THB200 million for the facility and seeks the local and foreign partners with THB900 million capitals.

Mr. Sooksanguan is the founder of airline Kan Air and 51% stakeholder in the Thai VietJet Air. He is about to expand Kan Air effect by using the new Koh Phangan Airport.
