New Terminal of Phuket Airport to be opened soon

The expansion of Phuket Airport cost 5,8 billion baht to be completed soon. Between 5 and 15 February new terminal X intended to serve private flights will be opened.

The expansion of Phuket Airport cost 5,8 billion baht to be completed soon. Between 5 and 15 February new terminal X intended to serve private flights will be opened. It will be equipped with shops and restaurants. Terminal X should serve private tour groups and support the main Terminal of the Airport which is totally congested.

Later up to April the old cargo terminal to be upgraded to a separate terminal for international flights. Five new gates will also be opened at the main Terminal. The renovation should help the Airport to meet growing number of passengers and to handle 20 to 30 more flights per day.
