After meetings with prime-minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and other leading dignitaries yesterday, Prince William arrived for the International Wildlife Trade Conference today. The Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development is staging the third edition of the annual conference in Hanoi.
The aim of the conference is to maintain unity among global leaders in the fight to stamp out the illicit trade in endangered animals and save them from extinction. The prince is attending in his capacity as the United for Wildlife Foundation’s president.
