Siem Reap Moroccan resort eatery offers discounts

Siem Reap’s newest luxury resort is offering discounts at its onsite eatery to mark the grand opening last month. The promotion at the Sarai Resort’s restaurant runs through until 30 April 2015 and gives patrons a hefty discount of 25 per cent off the prices of all dishes and beverages.

The Goat Tree Restaurant epitomises the resort’s North African theme and offers a traditional decor and classic goat statues. The garden annex is tree-shaded and cool on even hot days. Although both the Sarai and the restaurant are designed to represent Morocco, the menu is a pleasing testament to the diversity of Southeast Asia cuisine.

The Sarai Resort is the latest addition to the Cambodian town’s collection of swanky accommodation options. It is conveniently located within a few minutes’ walk of the Old Market dining and retail hub, yet no more than 15 minutes by taxi from the UNESCO listed Angkor Wat temple ruins and Siem Reap Airport.

The Sarai is a boutique establishment and places an emphasis on enhancing the holiday experience for guests. Suites and rooms are a modern take on old-style chambers and packed with amenities such as 40-inch televisions and mini-bars. As well as the Goat Tree, onsite facilities include a saltwater swimming pool and a hammam-style spa.
